Richford Recovery took delivery of the first known full electric recovery vehicle into their fleet. The vehicle with crew cab combination and deployable recovery trailer will be used primarily on inner city recoveries being a totally compliant emission free vehicle. Having seen the new LDV V80 Vans on the road, Matthew of TTM Tyres called into his local HRVS Van Centre at Stoke on Trent, and after test driving a new V80 Van immediately placed an order to add LDV to his fleet.
Ready for delivery, supplied by our Ripley Van Centre are 2 x New LDV V80 Panel Vans. The units added to the Richford Motor Fleet are in addition to the new MAN, ISUZU Truck, Kassbohrer & Caterpillar purchases already made this year from HRVS Group. The new vans are fitted with ALUCA racking, turning transport vans into perfectly organised workshops on wheels and mobile storage units carrying an 8 year warranty. ALUCA produces in-vehicle racking systems made entirely out of aluminium, light weight, with a key focus on load optimisation, safety, ergonomics, fuel economy and a reduction of CO2 emissions.
